Whether traditionally or independently published, all writers need to know about marketing and branding these days, and how to make social media work for us. Lucky for us, plenty of books have been written about these topics, but how do we schedule your online presence without it being overwhelming and taking too much time away from what we love doing, writing?
Nancy Gathecha might just have the answer for us!
Born and raised in Kenya and currently based in Germany, Nancy Gathecha is a published author of four books including the Amazon bestseller Vision Boarding the Faith-Based Way – How To Activate Your Dreams. She’s a speaker, productivity trainer, podcaster, and digital strategist with a background in sales and social studies.
Before venturing into the online space in 2008, Nancy owned a bookshop in Germany for five years, a business that was born out of her passion for books. When she’s not showing companies and creative entrepreneurs how to increase revenue using digital media, she can be found helping visionaries achieve their goals or indulging in self-care.

The Social Media Content Planner
Hi, Nancy! What is the Social Media Content Planner?
The Social Media Content Planner is a social media kit with templates, tools, and training that helps busy business owners, authors, and content creators save time and streamline their social media management and marketing.
How is the Social Media Content Planner different from what’s already out there?
The most significant difference is that this content planner is done-for-you. No more wondering what to post on which day, how to grow your audience or promote your products and services without being salesy. I did all the heavy lifting, and all you have to do is pick a prompt, idea, and script for your business pages and group content.
It adds time to our already busy schedules, because you can pre-schedule your content ahead. This frees you up to focus on other business building activities, take a break from the social media space, or go on a digital detox.
Why did you create the Social Media Content Planner?
They say necessity is the mother of invention.
As an author and content creator, I wanted a tool that would help me with visibility and the streamlining of my social media management and marketing efforts so that I could focus on building my business instead of wasting hours with posts that didn’t line up with my business goals and objectives.
I needed a tool that helped me connect the dots of how to use social media for business. I didn’t find one so I created it.
Who will benefit from the Social Media Content Planner?
Any business owner, brand, or organisation wanting to use social media content to grow their audience, boost visibility, leads, and sales without wasting hours and haphazardly posting content that doesn’t bring the desired results.
What is the best writing advice you were ever given?
Write first, edit later. The first draft is not the final master piece.
